We're glad that you're joining us for Disney's THE LION KING from April 4-15, 2018 at Miller Auditorium as part of the Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series!

Read on for tips and information to plan ahead for your visit. Make sure to check your tickets for your performance day and time. All performances will start at the advertised time and patrons must be in their seats at least five minutes prior to that time or be subject to seating holds detailed below.

NOTE: Please be aware that all performances of Disney's THE LION KING at Miller Auditorium are sold out or close to sold out. We encourage visitors to plan extra time for travel to and from campus. We will have a busy lobby for every performance and there will be lines for our bars, concessions stands and bathrooms. Miller Auditorium's new bag policy also begins on April 1 and details are below. Purses and bags are now subject to search and all backpacks are prohibited.

GPS address and parking:
2200 Auditorium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI directs you to our circle drive. Complimentary on-site parking is available in the parking structure attached to our building and in lots 33 (behind Miller) and 34 (behind the parking structure). For more information and for alternate routes on to campus, view WMU's interactive campus map: http://www.wmich.edu/maps

Traffic:
We will have officers on hand to help direct traffic before and after the performance. Due to the sold out performances, traffic volume will be higher than usual, so please allow for extra travel time.

Visiting Kalamazoo:
Kalamazoo is home to many great restaurants. You can find our Miller restaurant partners here at http://www.millerauditorium.com/restaurants and Discover Kalamazoo is a great resource as well at https://www.discoverkalamazoo.com

Miller Auditorium bag policy:
In an effort to enhance the safety of our patrons, Miller Auditorium has adopted a best practices policy, consistent with policies being implemented at performing arts centers across the nation. Please note, when coming to Miller, bags and purses should be no larger than 4.5" X 6.5" or approximately the size of small handbag/clutch purse. Anything larger than that may be subject to search or you may be requested to return the bag to your vehicle. Backpacks of any kind are strictly prohibited, as are any outside beverages or liquids.

Seating holds:
There are multiple seating holds during the performance, so please be in your seat at least five minutes prior to show start time and return to your seat before intermission is over so you don't have to wait in the lobby before you can be seated.

Arrival time and doors:
Miller Auditorium’s lobby and ticket office open two hours prior to each scheduled performance. There is additional seating in our grand tier (second level) lobby. The seating area opens approximately 30 minutes before each performance. At that time, you will hear chimes and our front of house staff will open the doors.

Show run time:
Run time for Disney's THE LION KING is approximately two hours and thirty minutes, which includes a fifteen minute intermission. Our concessions stands and bars will be open on the orchestra (main) and grand tier (second) levels before the performance and during intermission. Restrooms are available on the orchestra level and on the grand tier level. Restrooms are also available on the upper grand tier level.

Additional performance information:
This production of Disney's THE LION KING uses strobe lights.

Photographs and videos:
No recording or photography is permitted during the performance. This includes all set pieces and props.
