Miller Auditorium is proud to announce American Sign Language (ASL) performances for Disney’s THE LION KING as part of the Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series
As part of its commitment to providing access to live theatre for all audiences, Miller Auditorium seeks to include individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. For Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons who use American Sign Language (ASL) as their primary means of communication, Miller will host performances with interpreters. Disney’s THE LION KING will have ASL interpreters at both the Fri., April 6, 2018 at 8 p.m. and Sat. April 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. performances. A limited number of seats, near the interpreters, have been set aside and may be purchased by contacting the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at (269) 387-2300 or visiting in person.
While these performances are already scheduled, additional ASL performances may be added for all Miller season events. For patrons who desire these services, requests may be made for interpreters by contacting Miller Auditorium Associate Director of Patron Services, Shannon Rininger at (269) 387-2320 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested theatregoers should provide a minimum of one month advance notice in order for Miller to schedule qualified interpreters.
